Colours' experiments (1991-1993)

I combined different pencils, crayons and paintings in several layers and worked out deep colour surfaces. Later I mounted several wrinkled pages of newspapers or other papers on a drawing paper. When this "skin" had dried I painted it over with water colours or acrylic colours and different pencils or crayons. Or I used the colour tube as "pathfinder" and "tracemaker". Afterwards I condensed the traces to a deep coloured area.

Sculptural works

During a project-week I modelled reliefs after a landscape-drawing and sometimes copied them with plaster. The situation shows a little brook between two trees and a hedge in the background .

The egg is the embryonic cell and symbol for the beginning of life. Its perfect form exists in so many variations in nature. This sculpture is also a symbol for my artistic career. I found a new way of life.
